In 2007, the Remodelers Council, of Raleigh-Wake County, will partner again with the nonprofit organization Resources for Seniors to build ramps for low-income elderly adults who need them. 

Resources for Seniors, founded in 1973, provides a variety of home and community based services for the elderly.  Their Housing and Home Improvement Program makes minor health and safety –related repairs and modifications to houses so that disabled and senior adults can maximize their independence for as long as possible while remaining in their own homes.
